Théâtre Lyrichorégra 20, a non-profit organisation, was founded in 1976 by tenor Alain Nonat with the help of many important persons from the lyric and dance circles from Canada and France.

PROGRAMS

– SI L’OPÉRA M’ÉTAIT CONTÉ
Created in 1985. An initiation to opera presented mainly in primary schools.

– OPERA FESTIVAL
Inaugurated in 1980, this introductory program to opera is presented in cultural, shopping and public centers and offers a range of animation, exhibitions and concerts.

– INTERNATIONAL OPERA EXHIBITIONS
Since 1977, the presentation of international opera exhibitions in cultural centers and public places.

– LES JOURNÉES DE LA MUSIQUE FRANÇAISE
Initiated in 1987 and taking place every two years, this event is comprised of a French music competition, concerts, master classes and thematic exhibitions.

– THE CZECH AND SLOVAK MUSIC ENCOUNTERS
This event was started in 1987. It includes a bi-annual Czech and Slovak music competition, concerts, master classes and thematic exhibitions.

– LES JEUNES AMBASSADEURS LYRIQUES
Since 1994, this program makes it possible to discover young talented Canadian lyric artists and help them start an international career.
